2024 Holland Pools Demetree Golf Classic: A Day of Fun, Teamwork, and Community Support

Demetree Global was excited to participate in the 2024 Holland Pools Demetree Golf Classic, which took place bright and early on September 9th, 2024. Our golf team, "The Demetree Drivers," competed on the course, while a dedicated group of Demetree Global employees volunteered alongside Boys Town staff to ensure the event ran smoothly. Volunteers Jessica Santoli, Krystal Wheeler, Alexies Escotto, Noemi Alvarez, Sonnia Nay, and Gorken Mimioglu enthusiastically greeted golfers with breakfast and coffee before the tee-off and later assisted with event breakdown. The day was a perfect blend of golf, teamwork, and community spirit, with everyone playing a crucial role in the event’s success.

Reflecting on the day, Noemi Alvarez, Assistant Commercial Property Manager at Demetree, shared: “It was nice to be able to interact with Boys Town employees, golfers, and volunteers at the event. It was amazing to see all the support from the community, especially through the generous donations of time and gift baskets from local organizations.”

The Holland Pools Demetree Golf Classic benefits Boys Town Central Florida, honoring the legacy of Mike Holland, a former board member and advocate. Boys Town Central Florida, established in 1986, has impacted nearly 1,000 children annually, working tirelessly to provide support services that protect children from abuse and neglect. The Demetree family has proudly supported this mission for 38 years, a legacy started by William Demetree and continued by Ms. Mary Demetree, the company’s chairwoman.
