Tenant Spotlight: Tidewater Home & Gift Brings Coastal Charm to Hannibal Square

Say hello to our newest neighbor in Hannibal Square — Tidewater Home & Gift. Founded by local interior designer Todd Bennett, Tidewater offers a refined yet approachable selection of home décor, gifts, and accessories that reflect the warmth and elegance of coastal Southern living. The boutique officially opened its doors at 433 W New England Avenue and operates Tuesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tidewater first made its mark in Orlando’s College Park neighborhood before expanding to Tampa’s Water Street District in 2024. After closing its College Park location last year, Tidewater’s return to Central Florida feels both natural and highly anticipated. The new Hannibal Square location offers a space that better reflects the brand’s design-forward identity and places it in the heart of a community filled with design enthusiasts. From beautifully bound coffee table books and aromatic candles to timeless kitchenware and interior design services, Tidewater makes it easy to elevate any space or occasion.

We had the opportunity to visit the shop ourselves this week, and it was truly a treat. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by owner Todd Bennett, who offered a friendly welcome and his assistance if needed. The space immediately stood out as cohesive and thoughtfully curated, with a subtle coastal fragrance that tied the ambiance together beautifully.

Throughout the store, we noticed charming nods to Winter Park and the greater Orlando area - like locally roasted Eola coffee displayed alongside elegant glass French presses. Every item felt intentionally placed, contributing to the natural flow of the store while allowing each piece to shine on its own without overwhelming the senses. It’s the kind of space that invites you to slow down, take it all in, and leave feeling inspired.
