Last night, the Demetree Global team was honored to attend the highly anticipated grand opening of our tenant, Divina Carne, at 6424 Carrier Dr, Orlando, FL. This moment marked a significant milestone for both Divina Carne and the community, as this renowned Brazilian steakhouse officially opened its doors in Central Florida, in the heart of Orlando’s tourism destination, International Drive.

Divina Carne’s story is nothing short of inspiring. Originally founded in Costa Rica and later expanded to Cancun, Mexico, the restaurant has built a stellar reputation for combining premium beef cuts with Brazilian culinary traditions and tropical influences. Despite the challenges of opening during the pandemic in 2020, the restaurant thrived, ultimately leading to its expansion into Orlando. Their new location is a testament to transformation and elegance, with every detail meticulously crafted to redefine the dining experience.

A Review of The Grand Opening

The Demetree Global team had been eagerly anticipating this event, knowing how much hard work and dedication went into making it a reality. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was evident. We opted for valet service, though self-parking was also readily available and easily accessible in the large lot. At the top of the stairs outside the entrance to the building, a beautiful red ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening, with the Divina Carne owners and staff gathered to celebrate this significant milestone.

Entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the hostess on the left, with a chic bar immediately to the right. Straight ahead, staff welcomed us with complimentary Caipirinhas, offering both traditional and strawberry options. This iconic Brazilian cocktail, made with cachaça, sugar, lime, and ice, set the perfect tone for the evening. The live music and stunning design transported us to a world far removed from its former identity as a TGI Fridays, showcasing just how much effort Divina Carne's team committed to this very moment.

The dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. We began with the buffet-style La Barra Divina, featuring a wide variety of options: fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and even sushi. Once seated, the rodizio-style service began, with meats brought to the table and expertly carved. Using the Divina Carne coin found at every seat, we signaled green for more or red when we needed a pause—though our coins stayed on green far longer than we expected.

Staff was abundant and service was flawless. Each table had a button within easy reach to call for assistance. With just a press, a server — alerted by a special watch — appeared almost instantly to attend to any need, whether refilling a glass of wine or clearing plates for the next course.

One unforgettable highlight was the tableside risotto cart, where a creamy risotto was scooped directly on our plate without having to leave our seats. The texture, flavor, and presentation were impeccable and truly complimented the endless rounds of meat.

We ended the evening on a sweet note with two desserts that were prepared in-house: a caramelized crème brûlée and a rich, creamy flan. Both were fresh and delicious, the perfect conclusion to a flawless night.
